As many know, the Cape Town section of the MCSA hosts a 'climber's first Tuesday of the month' slideshow in the eve.
The content is uniquely rock-climbing and mountaineering, but in the broad sense.
The purpose is to keep everyone fired for climbing and is equally an occasion to get everyone around the bar together once a month.
Everyone is very welcome.
Of course non-members who attend regularly, usually come to see why being a member of the club makes lots of sense

A thank-you to Christina, who has for the last three years organised some very inspiring and entertaining features, and also to Ian and his team, who consistently run the 'back of house' with aplomb (the bar)
Thank you too of course to everyone who has been volunteering to give us their slideshows!
I have agreed to organise the features for a while - please would everyone keep an ear to the ground, and feed me lots of suggestions about friends that have done trips, opened projects, or know of visitors to the fairest cape that may have some tales to tell / slides to show.
Furthermore, if there are any suggestions re the current format, please give me a shout.
Please email or PM me - this doesn't really warrant a discussion - I will follow up leads outside of the forum.
Thanks!
