Just wondering if anyone is up at Eagle Rock this weekend?

There was suppose to meet happening, but don't know if it is going down or not.

Any info. or contacts will be much appreciated.

Cheers.

i would be more concerned about the weather - just phoned my brother-in-law, this was his response...

20 knots wind (+- 40km/h)
lots and lots of rain; predicted for the entire weekend

This FREE guidebook was written by Gavin Peckham but I have added new descriptions, maps, photos etc. If you want a nice version to print with contents page and full introductary sections, you can get the A5 pdf for free, either from me or by following the link on the wiki page. We had planned to go this weekend but the farmer says its pouring down there with gale force winds..so we will probably go next weekend, to climb and re-bolt some classics. If anyone is keen, message me. Hopefully we will now see a bit of renewed psyche for the place, there are some amazing climbs there. Andrew P.

Thanks for all the info, much appreciated, and ja, the weather was a bit crap up there this past weekend.

Grew up in Harrismith, but only recently (about 4 month ago) started to climb. Never knew that Harrismith was so "famous" for climbing... :)

Anyways still would love to do some climbing there, so if there is any meets, etc. there, please do let me know or post it online.
