Interesting review on the book 'The Secret Race' by Tyler Hamilton. The book is said to give a 'definitive indictment of cycling’s culture of doping during the Armstrong era'.

"What ultimately makes the book so damning, however, is that it doesn’t require readers to put their full faith in Hamilton’s word. In the book’s preface, which details its genesis, Coyle not so subtly addresses Armstrong’s supporters by pointing out that, while the story is told through Hamilton, nine former Postal teammates agreed to cooperate with him on The Secret Race, verifying and corroborating Hamilton’s account. Nine teammates. That fact is the first punch thrown at Armstrong’s supporters—and it might be the most damaging one."

Anyone interested in doping in cycling should read 'The life and death of Marco Pantani', I can't remember who wrote it. There are many books going way back that have been written about the obvious doping in pro cycling. I don't think there are many people who actually believe Lance didn't dope, but the point may be more that every pro cyclist the last 40 years has been doping, so why the witch hunt with lance?
Anyone know about a drug that can make me climb beter?

Well that depends. If fear is your greatest climbing handicap, then yeah. Alain Robert was arrested a while ago in the US with Xanax in his possession, that he may or may not have had a prescription for...

Wouldn't you end up with the shakes after it wears off though?

Ibuprofen is used a lot in climbing, but for physical symptoms such as pulls/strains.

I don't think the question of whether or not he used banned substances is relevant. The man had cancer and came back to win - the witch hunt against him is really a bad idea. He would be a hero to so many children out there, if they see him as a person who dopes, it may cause them to follow suite. And as already stated - all the top guys dope and use cloaking agents to hide it, Lance managed to win without any proof that he did anything wrong and thus he deserves the wins...

Try "scandens gymnasium", it makes you muscles sore for a few days, takes about 2 hour per time and costs R50 per dose. If taken twice a week for a few years it does wonders for your muscle strength and footwork... (for those of you who didn't get the joke, "scandens gymnasium" Latin for "Climbing Gym" - gotta love Google Translate)

Try rescue - its homeopathic anti-anxiety medicine, no side-effects and works really well.
