Re: ARF-The Mine
Jimbo, Zoe, Andy and I are organising another ARF meet (11h30 start) for 1 Dec at 'The Mine'. We intend to do the lower cave area, the bolts there are some of the rustiest I have seen!
Please come help us and give back to the climbing community!
PM me if you are interested.
Cheers

Re: ARF-The Mine
What about Moses?
We learnt that it is easier to unite waters than to divide them, and so don't need to be getting back to Water World any time soon.
Happy to help at the Mine, although I don't think that much of those bolted boulder problems.

Sandbagging is a dirty game
Re: ARF-The Mine
Moses is cool, It is Mo-Vember after all!
Will be nice if you come along then we could democratically discuss, whether routes should just be chopped! Plus there are probably other routes in other area's of the Mine that need attention.
Thanks for contributing.

I would come along but for heading to the Synergy Live music festival that weekend. I'll happily come along the weekend after if there is unfinished business. Enjoy it!

Re: ARF-The Mine
Why soooooo late in the day?
I might still join, but it depends on whether Montague is rained out or not.
But man 11:30 is a little late to start walking to the crag and still expect to get much done

Re: ARF-The Mine
I'm in. Cuan we are having a late start to accommodate the parents with family responsibilities and Sean only gets into bed at 5am. No sweat though, the wily old foxes can bolt chop-chop, and we are the ones driving all the kit up.
Klapit.

Hi Andy, cool
You guys def know more about the timing than I do
Anyway, I hope to join, but will see how the previous obligations turn out.

Re: ARF-The Mine
Yes, 11:30am on Saturday (tomorrow!)
Meet at the car park spot where the boom and guard hut used to be.
Those with 4x4s can drive stuff/people up.
This crazy wind is due to die down by then...
See you there.

Re: ARF-The Mine
Just want to say a massive thank you for all those who turned up to help at the Mine on Saturday. We managed to achieve a huge amount - rebolting all except 2 of the routes in the lower cave area (Jimbo and assistants), as well as a couple of routes on the far left (Wesley and Jay) and also Saucy Secretary (Sean). Thank you ARF!

Re: ARF-The Mine
Andy Bosch, borrowed some of the gear that belonged to his school. He thinks he may have left a DMM bug there, don't know what color, with yellow tape on it. If you have it please could he get it back.
Thanks
