We are 4 Vaalies in CT looking to go climbing. We are thinking of heading out to Montagu early tomorrow. Justin, what will the weather be like? Will areas like steeple or legoland be wet or raining? Will Badkloof be better?

Give me some good news please!!!

Afraid City Rock is your destiny...

This is a huge front. With snow predicted even in the south of Namibia!

It's raining right now (started around 8:30pm) and is supposed to rain through to tomorrow morning.
I'll post here tomorrow morning first thing.

It rained last night, stopped and then started with light rain early this morning.

Right now it is raining very gently, it looks like it is going to clear up later on this morning and I can see blue sky in the Cape Town direction.
Everything will be wet right now, so you will only be able to climb tomorrow.

Things are looking up :sunny:

I reckon you will be able to climb at crags that get morning sun by midday - of course this is only my prediction.
And yes, a webcam is on the cards :)

Plane to Jo'burg and then drive. Unless you have a private plane then you can get much closer

If you planned it right, you could be there in +-6 hours.

p.s. it's still raining here, which is very unusual... it normally just floods!
