Thanks Mok,

Below is the footage of the bag being taken - you can see him struggle a little with the weight of the bag
This took place outside the Vida-e Cafe at Sunrise Circle Ndabeni.
I so often do check the door after hitting the lock button... this time I did not! You can see the guy in the white t-shirt move in from above almost immediately.

The guy drives off in a black BMW afterwards - video resolution not good enough to get a license plate number.

I have reported to the police and am phoning Cash Crusaders (anyone know of any other stores that I should be calling)?

It's very unlikely that your stuff will be sold in any store. The crooks know a thing or two. That guy especially does not look like a tik-kop who would try something stupid.
At least the climbing community in this country is small enough to possibly come accross some of your gear.
Let's hope.

Do you need to borrow any gear urgently?

Justin if you go to the effort you may be able to track him on the wider street network cameras, and they do have the resolution to get plates. It’s going to take a lot of searching though.

I reckon its been too long by now, thank you for the idea though!

FYI: Cash Crusaders have a 'Report Stolen Items' section on their website where you can report stolen items. Your message (pics can be uploaded) is sent nation wide.
