Anyone out there know of any good new bouldering in the Gauteng area?

Perhaps I should ask is anyone else in JHB actually doing any bouldering... (in JHB / Gauteng). Wits / Rau clubrooms don't count :?

If someone has spotted some potential (preferably nails hard, overhanging / roofy potential) then pleeeeease let me know....

You could try Mutango lodge, perhaps some of the other guys who has been there can comment on the boulder potential (if any)?

Have you tried strubans II .I hear that it is not bad but i have not tried it myself. or Melville is very nice and very steep with lots of good problems

Other wise there is the KEG which is quite nice and 14 avenue above the clover office.

Thanks Gripit! I googled the lodge and found a pic that showed some potential. Your link was way better. Will definitely check it out :D

WRT Strubens II I think I've done all the cool problems when my buddies Guy and James developed the areas. If you haven't been and have a free afternoon you should definitely check it out.

Russ, James also mentioned checking out the area across the road from Strubens a few years ago (the road that goes to the keg), we should check it out at some stage.
