Hi! I have wanted to get into cilmbing for the longest time but I am finding it difficult to start out. There are no clubs here in East London that I know of and I don't exactly know anyone that is into climbing.
I was wondering if anyone in the area would consider helping me out.

Thanks guys I got hold of Garvin and went out to Morgans Bay on Saturday with him it was a worth while experience and I am defintely going to try to go as often as possible.

I am also looking for climbers in the East London area - do you think I could contact those people listed? I am a beginner climber (grade 17-18 ) from New Zealand, I'll be arriving in East London in early February to work for a year. I don't know anyone in SA, so even a beer with a friendly climber would be appreciated!

There are not that many climbers in EL, but the ones I know are a friendly bunch. They will be happy to take you climbing.
