Hi guys and girls.
Just wondering if anyone has info regarding all the new bolts goining up around Paarls Rocks.

There are a few on Brittania, Paarl and Gordon's domes.

i.e the crack on Gordons at the back, the routes on Paarl jst past the cannon. The two hangers near the beacon and on the big wall faceing Paarl

Would like to know the RD's, Abseils points, etc.

Thanks for all the effort.

Thanks all

Regards
R

Look in the new Western Cape guidebook and past issues of the SA Mountain for the latest routes or wait for the new Paarl guide which should be out soon...

Hello again

Any idea when the new Paarl guide is going to be released.

They said that it was going to be post in one of the SA mountain mag's - I think that was about 3 issues ago.

Regards

The 4 pitch route on the wastelands wall that starts up the crack is 20, 21, 24/25, 10. Would appreciate it if you give it a go and post your thoughts on the grading of the third as there has been no second ascent. as for the route guide delay....let's just say sh1t happens.

Just a big thank you to all the people involved in creating the new Paarl Route book, it is awesome

And not to forget about all the people who opened the routes, thanks guys and girls.

I am going to spend most of my weekends at Paarl just exploring all the classics and new lines.

I see that there are still quite a lot of old bolts and might be able to make a donation of a few bolts next month to the contribution to Paarl.

Will keep my eye on this post

Regards

Where can one get one's hand on the route guide for Paarl?

Check out all you regular climbing stores. I have one favour to ask though, Jovian Thunderbolts Directer is in the guide as open, but is in fact not as I had anticipated opening it before the release. Will be out on Sunday to do so, so please stay off until then (there are two hangers missing)
