Yes, we can sort of agree with you - but it got your attention
Perhaps tomorrow we'll put something up that’s demeaning to men to make it all even :D

Since taking down the old button (which by the way, attracted over 60 hits in one day! & has been replaced by the Cave man button) people have been asking us where they can view the picture in question.
So for your viewing pleasure, here is the button...

Just checked out the old button. Streetchild? Don't know if the old spinster's home takes streetchildren. Women are beautiful creatures. What's distasteful about the human body? What's demeaning about nudity? Get a life!

Agreed Pat - but using them to sell something in that sort of way just perpetuates the image of SA men as chauvinist pigs!

Hay Debi nice name :D (sexual chauvinistic compliment) this forum has been a bit quiet for a while so here goes :? If it was a picture of a ferrari or something no one would have sent any complaints about us \"chauvinist SA guys\", but because its a pretty girl our \"feminist picketting females\" have to make a stand even if one isnt necessary. I definately dont want this the site to become like a bike magazine, but variety is the spice of life. Personally I think the pics of SA girls cranking are just as good as that button (I love watching them climb, they're all so toned - UNbelievable) So? who's got what to say

The only thing sexist about climbing mags is all the topless men! I think we should have some gender equity law passed that states 50% of all climbing pics should be of topless babes....

Ok, i'm gonna stir a little more   Andy makes an interesting point

Once upon a time a girl in a bikini was featured on the cover on Climbing magazine (with breasts and an inner thigh)... in the following issue, some readers complained other readers commended (and shortly afterward most of the editorial team from Climbing went to Rock & Ice!).

So check out the article on ukclimbing.com and be prepared for some serious raunchy climbing images.
Caution, you know what subject is: http://www.ukclimbing.com/articles/page.php?id=112

And how come no one has ever complained about the photo in one of the Climb ZA gallery’s http://www.climbing.co.za/gallery3.asp

Don't let thisbecome a serious thread, women tend to take themselves too seriously, let common sense prevail.

Yeah how come no-one has complaıned about all those au naturel shots. Do the 85% male readers lıke looking at other mens butts? Why are people getting in a frothy over some partially exposed breasts when pictures exposing a lot more of far less attractive bodies elicit nary a blink? Go down to Clifton or Camps bay on any weekend (Well maybe not this weekend-its winter fool!) and you will lose count of the fully exposed naked breasts. Drop your pants and pretend you thought you were at Sandy bay and they will throw your sad saggy butt in jail. Come on girls take up the challenge fıght for equal rıghts lets see some topless female bods at the crag next time ok? After all the men dont hesitate to strip off their tops for your viewing pleasure!

(If this is at all illegible its coz Im writing on a Turkish keyboard from Sunny Cyprus. No topless bods here! Also its stinking hot and the rock disappointingly blank and chalky-Bleah!)
