How does one make more time to climb?
Life keeps me far too busy. Here is a quick break down:
168 Hours in a week (24 x 7)
45 Hours at work (9 x 5)
10 Hours travelling to work and back (2 x 5)
56 Hours sleeptime (8 x 7)
14 Hours shower ect (2 x 7)
14 Hours \"home\" time (2 x 7)
10 Hours party time (2 x 2 + 3 x 2)
This leaves a measly 19 hours in a week to buy climbing gear, research new climbs, train, do the ardous walkins and CLIMB itself.

Please help

Well I guess the obvious answer is to work less, but thats not always an option :( and if you have to travel 2hrs a day to work thats unlucky too.
For me, 4 hours a day \"home\" and admin (cooking etc) is way overbudget!
But maths aside I think the easiest thing is to organise your time so you have weekends totally free, thats quite a lot of hours to have fun!

You seem to be washing WAY too much for a climber!

Granted we all have to pay our dues, and pretty much all but the fortunate few have to grind away at our 9-5'ers. So, how to squeeze out more climb time?

S'all about priorities... Wanna climb, or wine 'n dine?

Cut down on the party time,.... it'll automatically cut down on your sleep time, and you won't be falling asleep in the bath, so halve your ablution time. This will also hack off a good chunk of your work time too, not to mention most of your work travel time since you'll be on the road before the traffic and get work early, awarding yourself the leverage to request an earlier hometime.

Some may call you a boring old fart.... but who with at least 30hrs a week climb time cares what anyone calls them?

Move countries, the one thing to say about UK is the summers, light till 11 at night, on the rock by 5.30. So lots of extra climbing.

Ok yes, we have bad winters, that why I am moving to you gus, but with no job, I can climb 24/7 (or when the wife is not lookin)
