Hi All,

The nuts on the top anchors of Ravens Claw and Griffendore are loose to the extent that one half turn at its off. I think the movement of the chains has caused the nuts to loosen up.

Go to your local hardware store, buy a stainless steel spring washer, and next time you're up there replace the original washer. Just DON'T overtighten the nut.

Just ask them for an M10 stainless steel spring washer. I'm assuming it's the standard 10mm anchors on the route, so a size 17 spanner is all you need.
Basically all you are doing is replacing the nut and washer, so the part of the anchor that is sunk into the rock should remain unaffected. Simply remove the existing washer and replace with the new one. Just DON'T overtighten - the nut simply holds the hanger in place adding no more security or strength to the anchor.

The anchors are now sorted. Eventually the nut, washer and chain completely fell off one of the anchors. This has now been replaced and the shared anchors for the Slitherin variation and Raven's Claw are 100%
