I am looking for anyone who has climbed at the Bassonia Hill - a couple of years ago myself and some friends opened some routes there and also noticed chalk on some of the other boulders - want to make make a guide for the area and need info on any problems anyone else might have so these can be added. Went there on Saturday and noticed that no-one has been there in a long time (no more chalk).

Also trying to locate rocmonkey who posted route info on rockclimbing.com in 2003 on another part of Bassonia Hill close to the Glen shopping centre.

If you have any info on Bassonia Hill or know anyone who has climbed there before please respond to this post.

Haven't climbed there, but driven past and eyed some boulders. What is the rock like? Anything bigger than bouldering? How many problems? Are you going there any time soon?

Yeah I remember having a chat about the area quite a few years back about the boulders there...
To be honoust I cannot remember much, so any ascents on your half take it as a FA. I do believe the area that i climbed at was on top of the hill that has been closed off now into someones property. I think there was a 16, and 21 there.

I look forward to seeing a route guide up with photo's then maybe i can have reference to wat was climbed.
