Please note that an update and revision of the Harry Potter area of the Chosspile has been carried out on the wiki.

There is a new route, The Balls of Hagrid (20), and more routes will be added in the next month, at low/intermediate grades.

You can find the route guide here:

http://www.climb.co.za/wiki/index.php?t ... otter_Area

I did the edit myself and am now wearing my tin hat should there be extensive discussion/criticism.

Please note all the caveats that I put in the edit. The route guide is not supposed to be definitive, I'll leave that to the new climbing guide to the area which ought to be coming out in the first half of 2010.

The grade suggestions are not mine but consensus opinions which will be reflected in the new guide unless the majority of people on the forum and elsewhere are not in agreement.

haven't been there for a while but:
i concur that "huff 'n puff" should be upgraded to 19
"moaning murtle" is way soft for a 23 - maybe not all the way down to 20; how about 21?
