Hey hey, I'm currently sitting in the middle of the sub-antarctic with no access to any proper climbing crags, well that are less than 1500km away. I'm here for a year and don't want to loose too much strength and if possible get back with a little extra.. Does anyone have any basic training trips to keep in shape? Any help will be awesome!

Yoga, climbing up the underside of a staircase.
See if you can order a Varigrip - http://store.daddario.com/category/1524 ... tness_Tool - I picked one up from a music store for R150
Good luck

Hey matt

I find that stretching helps a lot - daily, or as often as you can.
Needs no equipment, its free and it helps with climbing a lot. (and maybe find sumthing to hang off, now and then :thumright )

Good luck!
