Hello all,

I'll be visiting the Western Cape Feb 21st to March 10th to visit family and attend a wedding. I'm bringing my shoes but not my bouldering pad (i'm flying over from America.) I'd love to go bouldering a few times in the Cape Town area or Rocklands with someone who knows the problems and has a pad. Alternately, is it possible to rent a bouldering pad? Can anyone recommend good indoor bouldering in the Cape Town area or Stellenbosch?

in stellenbosch there is a small climbing community.there is a not so awesome (but the only one) bouldering wall at the Neelsie centre where i hang out a lot. just knock on the door if your hear someone to get in, coz you need a student card.

The Mountain Club of South Africa in Cape Town has a small (cheap!) bouldering wall, but I don't know how you'd get in there as a non-member. They had non-member prices on the wall, however, so ask 'em (http://mcsacapetown.co.za/).
