My dad told me the other day that he read about a multi purpose poncho (made by FA I think) in the popular mechanics. Apparently it is designed to serve as a hammock, shelter and ground sheet too. To top it off it is super light weight. Who has one? Does it work? Is it worth it? I'm dying to know...

I have a K-way one... I won't use it as a hammock though, and it is surely not something you want to wear to a fashion show. But it is quite nifty, especially because you can build a shelter with it. They cost about R350 at Cape Union Mart.

Thanks guys. I was kinda wondering the same thing Ansie and I'm probably twice your weight. I'll just use "I don't like hammocks" as an excuse.
