Bad idea cause if you land on something sharp it will still impact/bruise your spine/something.

Lol, yeah

Not very practical. Also, what if you hit the deck head or face first and if it's a sloped climb you could also hit the wall a couple of times on the way down.

Now if only they would invent that bolt gun that Stallone used on Cliffhanger. Now that would be sweet!

Niiice - I think they should market that crash pad for people with Narcolepsy. How about a sky hook :o , a parachute :) a jet pack :D , helium balloons (a couple) :P, a portable pool :shock: an inflatable climbing suit :roll: what else ?

A friend had the idea using an inflatable landing mat similar to that used by pole vaulters. Imagine climbing twenty meter routes ropeless without the prospect of getting wet, as in deep water soloing, if you fall! We should try it, it sounds totally wild. Bags not carrying the airbag into the crags tho!! :lol:
