Hey guys, whats happening with Lonehill? I have just moved to the are and looks like some nice bouldering. I know its a sensitive area as are most, can anyone tell me if there are access issues. I know it is only open to the public certain times of the year.

Has anyone got an RD on problems there ?

Unfortunately there is no RD at the moment but climbing is sort of allowed. Basically the owner/manger (Mr. Bell) said people can go climbing provided there is no litter, a limited amount of people and only on the open days, (which as far as I can remember are on Sundays). The rock is super rough and tends to flake off a lot, so take it easy; having said that though, there are some great problems. Maybe just swing by on a Sunday and have a look, to see what the current story is.
