Yes, they are good. Made in Spain. A friend got 5 of them. We climbed on TM, Cederberg and Pyrenees with them. They place easily and remove without a hitch. Quite versatile in force loading. They are a bit expensive.

Having looked at the that website, the new version of the Aliens look pretty awesome, except for two things:

1: The name!!!!!! "Basic"??? Really?? thats all they could come up with???? :puker:

2: The colour coding... How much more confusing could you get, having a yellow cam with a green sling, and then a fully yellow cam and a fully green cam... surely there is a bigger variety of colours to chose from.... :?: :?:

Oh well, as long as they operate as well as their predecessors I'm happy! :thumleft:

Silly Donkey! Don't you read the blurb?

The Yellow/Green and the Red/Yellow ones are "hybrid" cams to fit into the existing Totem cam range.

Love how round the edges of the cams is an innovation...

Yep I have one. They don't solve a problem really and they are more bulky and expensive.

They are meant to be better in flared cracks and are supposed to be able to have only the one side loaded.
