Good day all

I was wondering whether anyone had info on some of the routes at Silvermine that are not on the Wiki nor in Western Cape Rock.
If they are in fact present in either guide, my apologies.
The first is the route to the right of "In your Face" at Pumphouse.
The other one (or two) are on the facing wall in the gully to the left as you walk down into Main Crag.

I'd really like to know who put them up and what they're graded at.

Those routes in the gulley belong to Malcolm Gowans and Jason Temple-Forbes. They are still in progress with bolting and cleaning the routes - so please stay off them for the moment.

The routes should be a nice (shady) addition to crag

Anyone have an idea?

Not sure about the name of the unknown pumphouse route, but someone mentioned 24- which feels about right compare to other routes at the crag, and other face routes like Task Saturated.

Wish all of Silvermine was like the Pumphouse **oh to dream**

I recall the other two routes of which you speak! There were in an older copy of one of the books I had, I have not bothered climbing them as bolts are old! If I am not mistaken one of them is graded 21/22

The gentleman is talking of another gully! :-)
