Hi,

I am a KZN climber, and am planning a trip to CT in July, and I am looking for climbing partners. I am keen to hit Rocklands for about 3-4days. The dates I am looking at are somewhere between 17-27 July 2012. I am a photographer, so your incentive for allowing me to tag along, will be that you score sick photos of yourself.

I will probably spend the rest of my stay in Stellenbosch, and possibly a day or two in CT, and would be psyched to hit any indoor and outdoor spots.

I will be flying down, so I can't give any lifts unfortunately.

If you know of anyone, or have any info, it would be much appreciated.

Craig

Die Pakhuis campsite is easily the busiest climbing camp in the country, don't worry too much about finding partners now, that is an easy detail to sort when you get there.

If you clever you will land on the Friday afternoon, then get a lift from a weekend warrior, like me. 3 days is a silly amount of time in Rocklands: your skin will only last 2 days in a row. You would be better taking either a regular weekend and return with the same folks, or better a 4 day trip, resting on the 3rd day (unlike God, who prefers to climb for 6 days before resting one- but then, He is God). But then you would need to get back.

Thank you for the advice. I have booked my air ticket for the 19th. So I am keen to hit it on Friday the 20th. So if you are planning a trip then a lift would be much appreciated.

Is it even possible to survive the cold in a tent?

Hi,
is anyone taking a trip down to Rocklands between the 1st and the 17th of June. I'm keen to get out there for the first time and I'm looking for climbing partners.
If you're heading there or have any info it would be much appreciated.

Thx

Hi there, two of my friends and I are planning a trip there on the weekend of the 15th of June. This will be our first time, we have also not been climbing for that long. @ tiger
