Hey,

I'm looking for a Trad Climbing set, basically some nuts / stoppers, hexes, cams, slings etc... It's on my bucket list to do a multi-pitch trad climb (apologies if this is not the right lingo) and sleep over on the cliff like some of those pictures you see on the internet of fearless mountain legends. :afro: But before I get to that stage and overcome the fear of a multi-pitch trad climb, I need to get some Trad climbing gear and start small
I unfortunately cannot afford to buy the gear new, so am looking for some second hand stuff. If you have a rack you want to sell or even some parts of a trad rack, please let me know and I will be keen to buy it from you.

Happy climbing,
Niels

Come to the Tradathon, win a R15k BD trad rack http://www.climbing.co.za/2012/02/black ... tradathon/

Find someone with a trad rack who wants a climbing partner and tag along with them. Buy a nutpick and then you can "shop" on the mountain. Loads and loads of free gear...

Nic, when you get chance you should enter yourself, as I see you haven't yet (or Nic le Maitre is a pen name) . The raffle winner will be anounced at the Tradathon, however entry into the tradathon is not a prerequisite for the raffle- one can just enter the raffle 'cos you want the rack!

I'm bleak you guys get to enter the raffle, as I am not allowed too

I have a trad rack already, bought this year... So I thought that I'd let someone more needy have this one although I could sell it :jocolor:

Hi

I'm selling my rack - it's worth around R15k new - the oldest components are about 5 years old; but the cams are about 3 years old. On the whole it's in very good condition. what offers ? :jocolor:

SOLD this morning

Hi Simon,
did you sell your entire set? If you have some components that you still want to sell, please let me know.

Hi, I have two cams, a trango maxcam and a rock empire cam that I'm trying to sell. You can have them for around R250 each

Cheers
Brandon
