We (the UCT climbing wall conveners) recently imported a new Beastmaker for the UCT wall. It was stashed behind the wall (alongside all the other equipment belonging to the wall) for about two weeks while we were organising a mount to put it up.

However, much to our disgust, we came in on Monday (The 26th) to find the Beastmaker missing.

We've discussed this at length and concluded that it must have been a climber who has taken it. Nobody else would have use for such a thing, and nobody else really comes into the wall. If anyone you know has recently "acquired" a Beastmaker please just make sure they didn't steal it.

On the off chance that the thief is reading this: We really don't care who you are, but please bring back our Beastmaker so that all the climbers can use it. You obviously have access already, so you can still come use it yourself once we've mounted it.

If anyone knows anything, please let us know.

Well Brian recently got one... No it wasn't him. He imported his.

But seriously, that sucks. When climbers steal from climbers it's even worse.
I really hope they return it. If he does, let him train for about six months to get his fingers nice and strong. Then you chop off his fingers
