Hi there

I started bouldering a while ago and I'm loving every minute of it. I'm in serious need of a bouldering pad asap as some of the routes are getting more dangerous without any safety gear. I'm still a part time student so I'm looking for something not that expensive. Is there anyone out there that can help?

yo dude, if you are on a tight budget, go check out a foam whole sale place, me and a mate did that back in East London, and got a pad made for about 400 buck, and I mean yea it is gonna be heavier than the brand ones and depending on your budget, probably thinner but it worked much much better than just the ground, we used about 2 inch open cell (soft stuff) and about 1 inch high density open cell, for the harder layer because closed cell foam is heavy on the wallet (but lighter in reality). The place we went to also made us a cover for like 50 bucks. you should go and check it out for yourself tho, see how big and how thick you can afford. awe
