What are the effects of drinking with a brain injury? Well i have a Frontal Lobe Brain injury.I'm 19 and i want to start going to bars with my friends.I feel no urgue to drink and i personally do not like it at all, but i feel pressured into it as EVERYONE i know does it even people i never expected.I feel if i dont do it that i am a loser, especially being 19.So what are the effects of drinking with a Tbi?

As long as you stick to red wine you should be fine. It's a church thing - you can trust them :jocolor:

It's a great idea! Let's say you have a herd of buffalo. When lions hunt the buffalo, they will go for the weak ones. It is only logical that the herd will be stronger on average if you take away the weak ones. The brain works the same way, when you drink, the weak brain cells die, leaving you with stronger brain cells on average. That is why you always feel so smart after a few beers.

That's an excellent explanation shorti!! The only thing that bugs me is this: what if the lions are too lazy to pick out the weakest ones and just go for the first one they can lay their paws on?

I think I need to go to church sometime and find out what all this hype is about.

Drinking is fun, but it makes you stupid.
Frontal lobe injuries may (not shall) also make you stupid.
Imagine the fun if you combine them!

Now if this is a hoax, refer to the answer above.
If not:
dude, you do not need alcohol to have fun. If your friends do, then maybe you are hanging out with the wrong crowd.
If you spend a month in boven or montagu during peak times you will see a lot of people doing strange stuff, some with ropes and some without, but nobody will FORCE you to do it with them, and nobody will call you a loser for declining.
Make up your own mind, then do what you decided to - without regrets - and screw the rest!
