Any info on the route that is between Big Dreamers Never Die and Where Eagles dare? Is it the DREAMING IN THE SUN PROJECT ?
The first pitch is about 30m and has a rather large flake half-way up.
What are the grades for the pitches?

Hey Timmy,

If I can remember correctly, the first two pitches are around 19. I was last there in 2001, so can't be certain,.... at the time only the first two had been bolted.

Would dig to get back out there sometime!! Got a bone to pick with Big Dreamers!!

Don't recall the climb, would be interested in taking a look at it. Can we get some beta on it ? Who bolted it ?

Timmy, was it not too hot for you guys ? I only go in winter.

If the route hasent been extended yet, then it is the dreaming in the sun project. A while back (like 4 years ago) Lofty and I marked the top two pitches of the route with pilot holes (we were low on battery). They looked really cool. So theres probably another 2 pitches to go somewhere in the middle. Check with Lofty first if u wanna go bolt it - I dont mind. I think Neil Margetts might have opened a new route up somewhere in that area as well, that joins up with \"Eagles\".

Hi, there are 2 climbs up between BDND and WED. The left is Dreaming in the Sun which is now complete and goes all the way to the top at: 17, 15, 14, 20, 21. One 40 m pitche so better with 2 ropes. Climbing the first 3 and rapping is also a good easy opion if you want another mild day. The other line goes up the nose just to the left of BDND and finishes on the top bit of BDND. This is a bold line and worth doing. It is called Wild Child and starts off a flake just to the left of the shade bush below BDND. The climb goes 18,21,23,23 - all pitches 30 m.

Both new climbs are in Jaapies visitors book.
