I know this is somewhere on the site, but I cant seem to find it. What is the legend for bolt descriptions on the route guides eg. 11D,A. The D specifically.

Thanks, and excuse the ignorance.

It's the number of Draws you'll need to complete the route.

A means there are man-made Anchors to abseil from once you finished the route

B is number of bolts (seems to be the same as D, not that I've ever seen D before, maybe a typo...)

Stars are a route grading, with 5 being a classic and zero being a terrible route not to be climbed.

N means a route that requires trad gear.

Don't read too much into the stars, 0 stars often simply means that no-one has given it a star rating and for all you know it is quite a nice route.

I've climbed some no star routes that totally deserved that rating...
