Crystal pools near Gordons Bay. The rock is slimey though and time your falls well to hit the water at the right angle. It`s cold and stings like hell!

Yeah Don told me you guys were trying an overhang there, sounded cool although scary! There must be loads around if we look hard enough, I dont expect we'll find another Halong Bay but maybe on the coast near Gordons Bay or Hermanus or perhaps Arnesten? Sea water might be a bit softer (hopefully). Will keep ya'll posted if something cool turns up, now all we need is for summer to come back...p1ss off rain!!! Now where did I put that wetsuit...

I'm not sure if DWS over the ocean will be your best venues... the southern ocean is pretty rough, generally... tuff to get established on a line. granite especially doesnt often yeild good lines on the ocean, too slabby. salt water, tho sometimes claimed to have theraputic value as an enema, is also denser than fresh so the splash down might theoretically be harder.
the kloofs might be a better option to start with, i understand they can be slimey/vegged in spots but maybe those tour operators who do the kloof abs n all that can point you all towards some good potential.
good luck!!!!!
