Best of both worlds I think. Does that make sense or am I missing something?

i agree emile. well, to some extent. the Boven collated PDF is great (tks again mr pedley) - no need to search; stitch & patch different pages together. sure, new routes are getting opened but we can deal with that on an annual basis or something. and i doubt that there will be many new routes added to established magaliesberg areas - at least 99% of the easy to moderate routes has been climbed; i guess most of the hard ones too. the current RDs are also difficult to follow - some very vague descriptions ("move left at the small tree" - RD from 1948 or something).

TM makes for easier & clearer RDs because you can put 20+ routes in a single picture due to the elevation of the rock. magalies is a different animal, but i still think it is a worthwhile project for a few intrepid magalies lovers to put together an RD that's comparable to the TM one.

I'll do my part and team up with a magalies virgin, or at least a foreigner and take them up some fun routes.

I am busy working on an update to the existing RD for the Magaliesberg kloofs. The update includes colour pics of some of the routes to help find them. Where feasible, it will even have a photo of the cliff with the route marked on it. I am also updating the wording of many of the routes to help make them easier to find. It will probably be ready in early Feb.
