Hi,
I am a stylist who really knows nothing about climbing. I have an upcoming shoot and I am looking to hire a Himalayan Down snow suit ( blue and blk pref ), Crampons, Ski Boots sz 9, ski googles, ice axe etc and whatever else will look believable for a Mount Everest summit. Has anyone ever climbed Everest? Do you still Have your gear?I'd prefer to just hire everything from one person..the other catch is that we doing a test on Thursday 7am in cape town so it would have to be someone from here.

hmm I spoke to Trish at Mountain mail order, unfortunately they don't keep stock of that kind of thing as its so expensive but thank you.. now i am trying to get hold of Ronnie Muhl... fingers crossed.

There's a sizable bunch of peeps in & around CT that goes to Antarctica from time to time; both scientific expedition staff & commercial tour operator staff. Their outdoor gear will fit the profile. I do not have any contact details but that might be a useful line to google to get some numbers.

I have a red and black down suit. Need a substantial deposit cause if you damage it or lose it is not something I can replace here easily.
