Hi Guys
There are two boulders that are in the mooihoek campsite at eagle mountain that we could not find in any of the climbing guides or bouldering guides. The first one is located right next to the ablution block and had some chalk marks on it so someones been climbing on it.
The second one a much larger one had 3 single chains spaced about 1.5 Meters apart at the top and lots of pockets in the face its also in the campsite but further back towards the gate near the old ablution block foundations.
I have posted some pics below. Any help with identification will be much appreciated.

Yup, those are Harrismith boulders alright.
Re: Boulders identification Harrismith
The boulder next to the ablution has one really cool line called 'futuristic dream'. It sit-starts in the middle of the face and climbs straight up without using the aretes. Maybe a 7?.
The big boulder has a couple of lines I think, but the one I know of sit-starts in pockety holds on the left side of the boulder and climbs straight up via a big hueco jug to a pockety pinch and a weird cross-over to and edge and then to top-out. It's called 'ouma rusk's swingers club' - not sure why we came up with a name like that

Thanks for the info Hermann
Are any of those problems published anywhere ?
There seemed to be quite alot of lines on the second boulder we gave the one in the middle ending on the middle chain a bash until a storm moved in. It had some nice pockets with a very large one about a meter from the chains.
I am keen to go back and give them another shot with some more info on hand.

Don't think its published anywhere. The campsite was not part of the NBL comp area and only the NBL stuff has been put into something that resembles a guide.
