Hello,
I left a red no 1 bd nut behind on All Bran, Muizenberg, couldnt get it out. The wire is frayed and obviously not safe for climbing purposes but i'd still like it back.

You are aware that a #1 is only rated for 2kn (that is about 200kgs) when new. Your stuck piece is a health hazard and should be removed for the safety of others, as other parties might not know it is an aiding tool rather than a lead safety device.

Thank you Warren, I am aware that it isnt safe, it clearly states 2kn on the wire and as i said the wire is so clearly frayed that even a non climber can see its not safe. We didnt simply leave it there out of laziness in fact we spent a great deal of time and effort trying to get it out
