Driving from Joburg to CT in the middle of a climbing road trip and hoping to break it up with a climbing day somewhere not too far off the N1 - any suggestions? I would be psyched to get on anything up to ~29, 20-25 range is the best.

I think he means Oudtshoorn, but neither are on the N1. There is come climbing round three sisters and Beaufort West, but if you are doing this trip this summer I'd just keep driving cos damn it'll be hot!

i would give outshoorn a blast, even if its hot it still magic.

Just climb early in the morning chill for the heat of the day and climb later in the day.

Montagu will be just as hot.

Pull off the N1 at coleberg and head for the R62.
