Climbing Namibia

Postby mapsch » Mon Dec 31, 2012 8:24 pm

Hi!

We (my girlfiend and me) are planing to go to south Africa (again) for climbing, mainly in Boven. We also want to go to Namibia for one week or so, to see the country and of course also for climbing.
All I could find was trad climbing there.
Is there also good sport climbing in Namibia and if yes, where?
Hope to get some information!
Cheers,
Markus

The best way to go: contact the Mountain Club of SA, Namibia section:
http://www.mcnam.org/

Some areas have access sensitive issues, the guys in Namibia will know where and who to contact.

I hope you come right.

You want to get this book: it covers Spitzkoppe, which is a mixture of trad and sport, as well as Aussenkehr, all sport.
We ship most places in the world. R170.
