Once again, my pair of strops if dissintergrating, after walking up TM. They are a pair of K-way something or-other which are generally quite comfy, but this is not the first pair I have been through. They can't seem to handle walking up mountains, heat, water, etc, etc.

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations about a comfy pair of strops which will handle walkins to crags etc.

Hey Ropdoh

Gordon has the deal. I recoment their tracker sandal or hunter sandal. They take real abuse. I've worn their sandles for years. Made in Southern Africa. Suprising that they are not a more popular brand. Slightly pricy. Will mail order to anywhere.

Check it out http://gordonfootwear.co.za/

I don't work for them by the way...just a huge fan.

You can also try out Rocky's.
I've had my Bungy's for years wearing on mountain trails, through fynbos and even kloofing - still going strong.
Excellent grip, and you can adjust the velcro straps exactly according to your feet, and keep it there, because you open and fasten them with a quick release buckle-clip.
You should be able to find them in most outdoor/adventuresports shops.
