Gauteng gets its first 33

Postby andrew p » Fri Mar 15, 2013 8:31 am

Finally the long-standing project through the roof to the R of Tpex has been opened. 'Shadowfax' has been a back-burner proj for a few years. Amazing gymnastic movement on very poor holds. Solid 33 (unless someone finds some whack new beta). Good for Gauteng and the north, probably harder than Rodan but I can't say how it compares with Flex's 'New generation' at the Superbowl, that is sick. Whats next for Choss?...the Man Cave needs another route, the (relative) youth are going to miss out if they dont hurry as I am off to buy some new drill-bits. Andrew. P.S. Sorry no pics of this climb except for one of Brian on it which I cant find.

Nicely done and well deserved Andrew. I remember seeing you nearly get it a while back. A rad looking line with some fun roof beta.
