A sad day for Explo Bouldering

Postby Unidude » Thu Jun 27, 2013 7:00 am

Today is one of the saddest days I've had in a long time.
Our beloved Tuks Boulder Cave burned to the ground.
A lot of history is gone, a lot of hearts is broken tonight and a lot dreams is shattered. :shaking2:
But, a lot of people were met here, a lot of friendships were made here and a lot of positive energy and power were acquired here.
Explo, I will help rebuild this cave of ours to its former glory an beyond.
Together we will help the phoenix to rise again from the ashes. :thumleft:

Huge commiserations! This is the saddest climbing story I have read in a while. What was the cause of the fire- is arson suspected- has it been investigated?

No one stands to benefit from this, and again, so sorry to hear.

Guys I am so sorry. If it will help I am happy to offer free climbing to any Tuks climbing club menbership card holder at SA Climbing Academy (st Peters) for a while. Its a bit of a drive but perhaps you can fill a car or 2.
