Trip to The Alps Sept/Oct

Postby acaciaproject » Tue Jul 02, 2013 3:12 pm

Anyone keen for a trip to the Alps, mid September to early October?

Looking to fit in a route on the Matterhorn as well as some classics out of Chamonix.

2-3 weeks, or part there-of!

In theory I would love to join - but my ability/experience and bank balance don't allow :(

Looking at doing the Italian/Lionridge up the Matterhorn as opposed to the busy Swiss side i guess.

Have not yet looked too closely at routes in Chamonix, guess i'll make up my mind when there. Am keen try get in one or two multi-day routes too, bivy en-route.

First time for me in the alps so will be an interesting one!
No idea what grades convert to but i guess climbing AD/D routes.
Dates not set in stone but looking at 15Sep - 6thOct

PM me your details an we can chat more.

Tried to send a mail but keeps bouncing back.

Will be in Chamonix 07-21 Sept. Meeting a climbing partner 15-20 Sept but psyched to climb some routes off Chamonix from 08-14 Sept if you there. Nothing too hard more psyched for long alpine classics PD/AD. Long days and alpine style rather than pure rock.

Cheers
Andre
