As a Frenchi you might just melt;) South Africa has way better places to climb during this part of the year. Don't be the typical foreigner. Look past Rock Lands and see Utopia:)

good luck

Lots of climbing in and around Cape Town.
Start here - http://www.climbing.co.za/wiki/Cape_Town

Montagu is a two hour drive from Cape Town - http://www.climbing.co.za/topo/south-af ... e/montagu/

And the rest of the Western Cape - http://www.climbing.co.za/wiki/Western_Cape

Good luck. There is also some really classy bouldering in Cape Town, very overhanging climbing in montagu and well featured tufa climbing in oudshoorn:)

Best of luck

I wouldn't want to drive all that way to sweat my way up limestone tufa in Oudtshoorn, especially if where I lived was inundated with fantastic limestone sport climbing.

Follow Justin's links and get on the great Sandstone stuff around Cape Town.
