Sport & Trad Climbing Rack - Barely Used

Post by Graemejnr » Sat Feb 11, 2017 11:02 pm

I put this trad rack together last year but it has been neglected after my climbing partner moved over seas.

Most of the equiment has only seen one or two uses if any at all and I still have the technical info and receipts for a lot of it.

Below is a list of most of the gear:

1 x Cape Peninsula Trad Climbing Guide Book

1 x Petzl CORAX Large Harness

1 x Petzl Chalk Bag

2 x Black Diamond/Petzl 24cm Draws

4 x Petzl DJINN 17cm Draws

6 x Petzl DJINN 12cm Draws

1 x Long Tied Webbing Sling

2 x Short Tied Webbing Sling

1 x 120cm Rock Empire Sling

4 x 60cm Mammut Contact Sling

3 x Various Length Prusiks

1 x Long Cordelette Rope

1 x Petzl Spirit Locking Carabiner

3 x Singing Rock Locking Carabiners

1 x Petzl Verso Belay Device

1 x Petzl Reverso Belay Device

1 x Metolius Nut Pick

1 x La Sportiva Tarantula Climbing Shoes - Size: UK 10

1 x 200g Black Diamond White Gold Chalk (Un-opened)

Black Diamond Camalot Cam - Sizes 0.75, 1, 2

DMM Dragon Cam - Size 4

Black Diamond Wired Hex' - Sizes 4-10

Black Diamond Wired Stoppers - Sizes 4-13

Hi. Would you consider splitting? I am interested in the cordelette rope. How long is it? What thickness please? Also, whereabouts are you? Peter

Have you taken any whippers on or dropped any of the cams?

I need a BD size 0.75 and 2 for a lil project.

Hi all,

Thanks for all the inquiries. Here are some answers to a few of the questions asked.

@mokganjetsi - Sorry, no ropes. My partner handled that.

@PeterHS -
1. I don't really want to start splitting it up just yet. I'm going to hold out a little longer to see if there is a buyer for everything. If not I will put up the individual prices.
2. The cordelette is roughly 3m long x 0.6cm thick

@Sarel - No whippers, falls or drops on the cams. They have only ever been used on one or two easy Lions Head routes. However, like I mentioned to Peter, I'm not too keen on breaking up the set just yet.

I am very interested in the Reverso, as well as carabiners. Please let me know if you end up splitting the rack.

I'd be interested in the cams and nuts if you are splitting!
