Help with Waterkloof

Post by minhtuchael033 » Fri Jul 06, 2018 10:14 am

I'm heading to Baviaanskloof this weekeend and can't find any guide on Waterkloof. The EC MCSA changed their website recently and all the guides that used to be on there aren't accessible at the moment.

PDF guides on ClimbZA are accessible: http://www.climbing.co.za/topo/pdf/sout ... tern-cape/

Can anyone help me with something? The MCSA's National camp was in Baviaanskloof just last week, so I'm sure there must be an up-to-date guide lying around somewhere? :(

Or would they have guides available at Bo-kloof?

Get hold of derek marshall: marshall@qsafrica.co.za. He is the man - the visionary who established the venue.

Be warned though - it is a very narrow kloof which would not have had sun for months - so it'll be pretty chilly in there. Phenomenal place though. Great campsite. Look on the Baviaans Tourist websites for Bo-kloof.

And tons of potential for new routes in adjoining kloofs.
