Has anybody else tried out the new BD C3 cams?? They are by far the nicest baby cams I have used!! I can’t find anything wrong with them... apart from the price.

The C3s are fine in horizontal cracks. But for anything else like vertical, shallow or flared cracks Aliens still get my vote. Aliens also happen to be 1/3 cheaper than C3s.

I have 3 C3's and 3 Aliens on my rack. Each have their own specific uses. The C3's are great (and we all know Aliens are too). I have certainly found pro now where I used to run it out before C3's (and that's a major plus for an old codger). They also work well in vertical cracks Robert. I have placed them in such cracks many times now and am just as willing to take lobs onto them as I am with small Aliens .... ???
