A highline in Mhlabatini with the PTA Slackliners and Durban Slackliners.
The 2nd edition of the South African Highline Meeting will be hosted at De Pakhuys in Rocklands over the Easter weekend, 3-6 April 2015.
This was everybody’s first time on a highline. It was a daunting 30m line that was wonky at its best. I loved the energy and enthusiasm. Well done everybody!

A beautiful line at the entrance to Mhlabatini. Easy access, natural anchors and really comfortable highline to walk.
On the 9th of august 2014, Julian Mittermaier and a bunch of friends rigged a 224m highline on the mauvoisin dam wall with the crazy idea of breaking the actual highline world record of 214m.
I went out and did this highline after many months of trying to find someone to join or teach me the ropes. I had no such luck. It was the single most incredible moment in my life.
