Trigger Happy (19) ***
The climb takes the righthand obvious good off-width crack directly behind the Tombstone pinnacle on the main wall. The objective is to follow the crack until you reach the overhang at the top. To exit right or straight up will be very challenging and probably dangerous. Out left is the easiest way. Bring lots of big cams.
P1. 12m (18)
Climb the off-width crack to a small ledge by a chock-stone (75 cm diameter) lodged between the crack and the ledge. The chockstone looks secure, but the ledge can be reached without pulling on it.
P2. 15m (19)
Continue up crack over a bulge, after which the angle eases, from where a groove runs up to a series of roofs. Follow the groove up to the roof and make a stance where the groove starts exiting to the right under the first roof. Pitch 2 can be linked with pitch 1 if you bring enough big gear.
P3. 18m (16)
Exit left onto small ledge. Around the corner on the left is an open book where gear can be placed. Climb up and continue diagonally left to a grassy ledge where you can build the final stance. An easy scramble can be made to the top. Watch out for loose rock.
