Brief Overview
Winston is a residential area surrounded by cliffs in the Upper Highway area.
There are 4 main areas were Rock Climbing is developed.
- Jan Smuts Area
- Tollgate Crag
- Lonely Wall Area
- Powerline Area
Two trad routes have been done in this area. Details to follow.
Jan Smuts Area
Many easy Sport routes
Tollgate Crag
New with some ssport routes, cool on a hot day.
Lonely Wall Area
The original Winston Park Crag, developed many years ago. Sport and Trad routes.
Powerline area
New area. Some trad routes opened.
