David Wade sending in Oudtshoorn 2014

During the last week of April 2014 David Wade, Evan Margetts, Elzanne Robinson and Joshua McNally did a climbing trip down to De Hoek Nature Reserve half an hour from Oudtshoorn tucked away in the Swartberg mountains.

They met up with some Cape Town climbers and took over the camp site and limestone crag.

  • Evan Margetts sent Half Seven (29/7c+)
  • David Wade sent Big Foot (26/7b), Menopause (27/7b+) and sent Half Seven (29/7c+) (at night!)
  • Joshua McNally sent Half Seven (29/7c+), Big Foot (26/7b), The Quickening (28/7c) and Going Going Gone (29/7c+)
  • Elzanne Robinson sent Phallic Mechanic (24/7a)P.S.  Jason Temple-Forbes opened ‘Dash be Quick’ on the 21st of April.  Jason is eagerly awaiting a grade confirmation (please)!
