The 6th edition of the South African Highline Meeting will be hosted at De Pakhuys in Rocklands over the Easter weekend, 19-22 April 2019.
Highlines ranging from 20-65m long will be rigged and ready to walk. Campsite lines for learning techniques will help first timers with highlining essentials. A few workshops are also on the cards. We’ll have some waterlines over the dams for fun in the sun too! And a nightlining session under the Cederberg sky.
Other activities include Climbing, Swimming, Hiking, Unicycling, Juggling, Tricklining, Rodeolining, AcroYoga, Music etc…
Camping and Accommodation:
De Pakhuys Campsite will be the main area of activity, in close proximity to the Highlines (10min walk), lake (swimming and waterline), kitchen, bar, etc. There is no need to book a campsite, but for cabins, it’s best to phone the office well in advance.
Alpha Excelsior also has accommodation available, and a dam for swimming and waterlining. The Donkey Camp has 8 permanent caravans for hire with two camp slacklines, about 30mins walk to the highlining action.
Traveller’s Rest is another accommodation option with a restaurant and slackline alongside a river.
