So that’s a wrap! The 8th Annual Black Diamond Tradathon was held at Rooiberg, Cederberg and featured Racks, Raffles and Rock Climbing a plenty!
As per our now 7 year TRADition, the 8th annual Black Diamond Tradathon brought together climbers from all over South Africa (and some from further abroad) to the incredible Rooiberg crag in the beautiful Cederberg. Trad veterans and green (but keen) sport climbers alike came together to enjoy a high-energy and joy-filled day on the mountain.
Experienced trad climbers got the opportunity to tackle some challenging routes (and, perhaps unintentionally, lead some new ones), while less experienced climbers got to learn the ropes from community experts. With only a few epics we rounded off the day having a filled-to-the-brim-with-vibe party and a scrumptious dinner (and a couple post-climb cold-ones)!
