Due to the announcement that gatherings of more than 100 people are now prohibited, Rocklands Highline Meeting 2020 is postponed until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
The 7th edition of the South African Highline Meeting will be hosted at De Pakhuys in Rocklands over the Easter weekend, 10-13 April 2020.
Details:
Highlines ranging from 20-65m long will be rigged and ready to walk. Campsite lines for learning highlining techniques will help first timers with the basics. We’ll have some waterlines over the dams for fun in the sun too!
Other activities include Climbing, Swimming, Hiking, Unicycling, Juggling, Tricklining, Rodeolining, AcroYoga, Music etc…
Camping and Accommodation:
De Pakhuys Campsite will be the main area of activity, in close proximity to the Highlines (10min walk), lake (swimming and waterline), kitchen, bar, etc. There is no need to book a campsite, but if you’d like a cabin, it’s best to phone the office well in advance.
Alpha Excelsior also has accommodation available, and a dam for swimming and waterlining. The new Donkey Camp has 8 permanent caravans for hire with two camp slacklines, about 30mins walk to the highlining action.
Traveller’s Rest is another accommodation option with a restaurant and slackline alongside a river.

Does anybody know whether CapeNature has reopened The Pakhuys Pass for climbing and bouldering?
Would be great if we could combine some climbing with the Highline Festival this weekend.
